Beginner Friendly Yoga & Movement Classes (no experience needed)
FREE Introduction to Yoga. New to Yoga? This fun class welcomes everyone to explore the basics. Learn how Yoga can benefit posture, circulation, flexibility, and even the mind! Basic postures and breathing exercises will be introduced.

Moving Meditation. "Creating flow and peace for body and soul." An enlivening blend of release and energy movements, Moving Meditation leads you through a qigong series to release blocked energy and create a balanced flow of health and vitality throughout the body. Class includes Yoga moves, music, dance, breath-work and guided relaxation.

Pranayama. Learn & practice Yoga breathing techniques and feel the benefits for increasing your vitality & life force energy.

Therapeutic Yoga. Therapeutic Yoga invigorates the mind and brings flexibility to the body. As we age, these are the things we lose - but it doesn't have to be that way. Our muscles are like pulleys that respond well to being gently stretched for about 20 minutes per day. Therapeutic Yoga focuses on the particular stretches that are most beneficial for each individual, whether their needs are based on injury, misalignment, age, or skill level. This gentle class is suitable for all levels of experience, and takes into account the unique needs of the participants. This approach works well to help both active and aging bodies to maintain long-term health, proper posture, flexibility, and prevention of injury.

Yogalates. A dynamic flow class that combines the slow controlled breathing and stretching of Yoga with the core strengthening power of Pilates.

Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is hard to classify, for good reasons! It is suitable for beginners and those with stiffer bodies because of its slower pace. The poses are held longer, giving time for the body's deep, dense tissue to soften and release. Yet it also benefits long-term Yoga practitioners for the same reasons, complimenting active practice and providing opportunities to explore the mind's responses to the challenge of staying with the sensation of a long-held pose. Yin Yoga is highly beneficial for the body's connective tissue, including the joints and ligaments.

Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra invites the body into a state of deep rest, and gently works to rid the mind of samskaras: long-standing, unconscious patterns that hold us back from approaching our true potential and realizing our deepest dreams. As the new year approaches, the perfect time has come begin the journey toward greater self-realization, happiness, peace and prosperity. Join us, as we begin to gently unravel our unconscious holding patterns and reawaken our inner freedom. We'll do several Restorative poses, then snuggle down for savasana, guided relaxation, and Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is deeply meditative and still. Feel free to bring blankets & pillows for your optimal comfort.
Relaxing & Restorative Classes (no experience needed)
Restorative Yoga. Looking to relax and renew? Judith Lasater refers to Restorative Yoga as "active relaxation." Through the use of supportive props, Restorative Yoga alternately stimulates and relaxes the body, creating physiological balance. The poses soothe the nervous system and can reduce the effects of stress-related disease. Restorative practice is especially effective at alleviating stresses we experience at challenging times in our lives, such as illness, loss, overwork, or life changes, as well as the stresses we experience every day. It's a wonderful way to prepare your body for sleep, and is tremendously helpful for insomnia.

Restore. Slow, gentle movement combined with breath allows the body to soften and release. Feel old tension drift away as the mind also lets go of its knots. Body and mind emerge renewed and rested.
Intermediate Yoga & Movement Classes (basic experience recommended)

All Levels Flow. Love to move, but wish you could warm up, cool down, and hold the poses in-between long enough to fully experience the pose? Then All Levels Flow is for you. This sun-salutation-based class builds strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility by giving you enough time to reach your full expression of every pose—and it keeps you moving, too.

Anusara Inspired. This class will use the power of good alignment and heart-centered theming to cultivate more freedom in the body, expansion of the heart, and clarity of the mind. Never the same class twice, this method draws from over 300 poses that are carefully sequenced to develop a deep, robust, and transformative practice. Partner work and demonstrations are common. Variations and alternative poses ensure that all levels of students are served.

Booty Camp. Come join Rebecca for a fun and invigorating booty camp class. Booty Camp works problem areas fast by getting down to business and targeting the hot spots. Lighten up, have fun, fun, fun and look great too!

Community Class. This is our way of giving back to the community and sharing the learning experience of teaching Yoga. This class is taught by a teacher-in-training and is offered on a pay-what-you-can donation basis.

Deep Flow (hot). Deep Flow is a practice designed to access the undercurrent of our experience through meditation, movement, and music, to seek the edge and stay there, to find inner strength through breath and self-awareness. Deep Flow is challenging and the lights are turned down as we light our own candle to symbolize the lighting of our personal meditation. The approach and tempo of the Asana flow is adjusted to explore continuous focus and presence, with longer holds and slower movement. End your weekend with a good sweat and a vigorous introspective practice.

Express. Revitalize mind and body at mid-day with this shorter version of our All Levels Flow class and bring peace, joy, and love into the work week!

Good Morning Yoga. Start your morning with a smile with this complete Yoga practice. We'll warm up slow, then build energy with flowing movement and core work, ending practice with a restorative series for the back, hips, and neck. This gentle practice is appropriate for beginners who have been introduced to the basic poses of yoga such as downward dog, and warrior one. Click here to watch a video of an opening meditation from GMY.

Para Yoga: Asana into Meditation. In the tradition of the Himalayan Masters, Para Yoga uses the physical practice of asana as a springboard to transport us beyond the merely physical, into the realm of meditation. Using slow dynamic vinyasa combined with held poses, we build stability and inner brilliance while inviting expansion and ease throughout the body. After a replenishing physical practice, we’ll drop into relaxation and stillness to explore the internal play of energy within us as we connect to our source. (Class will consist of approximately two thirds asana, and one third relaxation and sitting practices - pranayama, kriya, meditation).

Power. Looking for a full-body workout that nourishes your mind and spirit as well? In this class, we will combine dynamic breathing and strong movements to tone your entire body, refresh your mind, and soothe your spirit. A step up from our All Levels Flow classes.

Sunday Morning Flow. There is a spirit to Sunday morning…introspection, non-judgment, reflecting on what is important, looking into the heart, and music. In respect of this Sunday Morning spirit, we ease into the practice without strain, gradually step up the flow to build heat and elongate the breath, and then wind down with openers toward a deep Savasana. This is a nurturing, feel-good practice. Start your Sunday with connection, feeling, and self-reflection, and give your body a balanced and sweet embrace.

Yin Flow. A thoughtful slow flow practice with an emphasis on building flexibility.
Advanced Flow and Power Classes
Yoga for Strength. Unifying mind, body, and breath, this class builds strength through every major muscle group, building overall tone and increasing mental focus & inner harmony. A challenging combination of power, flow, and core techniques.

Vinyasa (Hot). A dynamic and balanced asana practice rooted in the integration of breath, movement, and music. Address every part of the body with intelligent sequences that build heat, access strength and endurance, increase concentration and flexibility, and finish with deep relaxation. Click here to watch a short video clip from Vinyasa.
