This course will explore the six categories of poses through alignment and energetics. As we establish foundation, we will address adaptation and adjustments for injuries, issues, or different levels of practice. We will explore the energetic benefits/effects of each type of pose as well. Learn to notice and change your movement habits that are not useful for you.

THE FOUR DESIRES is nothing less than a roadmap to achieving our most fulfilled life, a modern rendition of an ancient approach to self-transformation. This is not a traditional book group, but is process –oriented, drawing from ancient Vedic teachings around self-reflection. With the support of a teacher to introduce and lead these practices, this FOUR DESIRES course will offer tools intended to unfold our highest purpose, leading us onto a path of courage and joy.
We will meet as a group for three seperate evening discussions, before delving into a weeekend long intensive here at the Avenues Yoga Studio.
