Meet our Instructors!
Chanda is a 500 hour credited yogini who offers a holistic approach to yoga by honoring the mind, body and spirit collectively. She studied Samayoga, Under the Banyan Tree with Sky Akasha and Swami Vagishananda in Bali, Indonesia. It was in that mystical setting, she received a deeper understanding of yoga, Ayurveda and the influence of the elements. She realized the calling to share this vital teaching with students and sculpts her classes to provide a balancing effect, teaching from her heart, and cultivating a sacred space for students to realize their own potential for healing and growth. She considers pranayama, meditation and mantra an integral part of her complete yoga practice.

"My intention is to provide a safe space for all students to express, explore, and have fun. My classes are for all levels, and will often incorporate a unique flow, based on pranayama, aspects of meditation, and sound healing. Yoga has taught me to slow down, to use my breath to anchor into each moment exactly as it is. Our bodies are strong and when we take time to listen to what it needs, we allow more space and healing to take place."
I am a teacher of yoga but first a student. Yoga is the roots in which the rest of my life takes form. The teacher my main focus is bringing you, as a student, back home to yourself by holding the space for you as we explore the depths of asana, pranayama, mantra and pratyahara. I have classes that are trauma informed and inclusive to all people. I am overjoyed at the opportunity to serve and get to know you!
Tanner began yoga at the age of 16, practicing a couple times a week with his grandma at the local rec center. This practice grew into a love for the human body and intentional movement. After high school, he attended and graduated from massage school in Salt Lake City. He is currently a licensed and practicing massage therapist. He decided to add another modality to his body work and completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training program through Avenues Yoga. He currently teaches Yin on Tuesday evenings. His goal in both yoga and massage is to target those deep fascial connections to improve mobility and decrease pain for students and clients.
